Wishnick - Siegel Tunnel

This is another tunnel that is easily accessible via the PH - WH tunnel. This tunnel runs below 33rd street and is used for effectively the same purpose as the PH - WH tunnel. This tunnel is also an apparently well travelled, well lit and dry tunnel. Where the tunnel runs under the street there are some loose metal strips on the floor as well as a few uninsulated sections of steam piping so use caution. Also on the note of the steam piping, air bubbles in the steam piping sometimes produce a benign but rather startling banging sound where the pipes lower to cross under the street.
