Perlstein - Alumni Memorial Tunnel
This is the longest tunnel that leaves the PH basement and is used to carry steam and chilled water to both AM hall and Herman hall. This tunnel is also apparently maintained and well lit, however the temperature as you approach the AM hall end I would estimate at around 90-100F while the heating system is running. Certainly tolerable but enough to make you start sweating in a few minutes. Entry to AM hall is secured with a sturdy door and Medeco locks but there is an approximately 12"x24" hole near the floor that you can crawl through. There is actually a T where the tunnel turns left to approach AM hall but the space to the right is a partial crawlspace and is severely obstructed.

Obstructed crawlspace at right of T.

Continuation to AM Hall. Electrical/telecom rooms to right. Temperature is quite warm now. Holes through wall at lower left lead into AM hall.
