Alumni Memorial - Herman Tunnel

This is an actively used tunnel from the AM hall basement to the NE machinery room of Hermann Hall. This tunnel is quite difficult to access owing to the relatively new door with Medeco locks on both sides guarding access on the AM hall side. However, if you are slender enough, you can crawl through one of the 2 approximately 16" holes next to the door near the floor. This tunnel starts out very wide and then narrows somewhat as you approach Hermann hall. Additionally, there is approximately 1/2" of standing water on the floor for the last 8-10 feet of tunnel. Once you get through, you will be in Hermann Hall. Use caution with regards to detection, since Hermann Hall has had a recent security upgrade. There is a camera directly outside of the door on the west wall facing such door, as well as the dock door.
